Las dimensiones atrofiadas

「I've been given the opportunity to participate in the pop-music mainstream, and manufacture Chiclets, and to try to persuade fourteen-year-olds that the look and feel of Apple computer products is an indication of Apple computer's commitment to making the world a better place. Because making the world a better place is cool, right? And Apple computer must be way more committed to a better world, because iPods are so much cooler-looking than other MP3 players, which is why they're more expensive and incompatible with other companies' software, because - well, actually it's a little unclear why, in a better world, the very coolest products have to bring the most obscene profits to a tiny number of residents of the better world. (...) I think the iPod is the true face of Republican politics, and I’m in favor of the music industry … standing up proud and saying it out loud: We in the Chiclet-manufacturing business are not about social justice, …we’re not about a coherent set of national ideals, we’re not about wisdom. We’re about choosing what WE want to listen to and ignoring everything else…. We’re about giving ourselves a mindless feel-good treat every five minutes. …We’re about persuading ten-year-old children to spend twenty-five dollars on a cool little silicone iPod case that costs a licensed Apple Computer subsidiary thirty-nine cents to manufacture.」

「«Say, why don’t you fellows try my orgone accumulator? Put some juice in your bones. I always rush up and take off ninety miles an hour for the nearest whorehouse, hor-hor-hor!» This was his «laugh» laugh - when he wasn’t really laughing.
The orgone accumulator is an ordinary box big enough for a man to sit inside on a chair: a layer of wood, a layer of metal, and another layer of wood gather in orgones from the atmosphere and hold them captive long enough for the human body to absorb more than a usual share. According to Reich, orgones are vibratory atmospheric atoms of the life-principle. People get cancer because they run out of orgones. Old Bull thought his orgone accumulator would be improved if the wood he used was as organic as possible, so he tied bushy bayou leaves and twigs to his mystical outhouse. It stood there in the hot, flat yard, an exfoliate machine clustered and bedecked with maniacal contrivances. Old Bull slipped off his clothes and went in to sit and moon over his navel.」

Dará sustancia a vuestros huesos.

「It's just a northern industrial town. The front doors of the houses open into the street. There's no room for front gardens, just two-up two-down in a northern industrial town. And you can see the green hills cross the rooftops and a fresher wind blows past the end of our block. In the evenings the mist comes rolling on down into a northern industrial town.

And there's only two teams in this town and you must follow one or the other. Let us win, let them lose, not the other way round in a northern industrial town. And the street lights look pretty and bright. From the tops of the hills they rise dark in the night. If it weren't for the rain you might never come down to your northern industrial town.

And on payday they tear the place down with a pint in your hand and a bash'em out band. Sure they'd dance to the rhythm of the rain falling down in a northern industrial town. And there's plenty of artists around. Painters steal cars, poets nick guitars. 'Cause we're out of the black and into the red, so give us this day our daily bread in a northern industrial town

But it's not Leeds or Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield, nor Glasgow. It's not Newcastle-on-Tyne. It's Belfast, It's just a northern industrial town. Merry Christmas, war is over in a northern industrial town. 」

Recoger huevos. Pagar fontanero. Ir a putas. Cerrar bombona. Perro. Matarme”.
